Mid-Season Summary

We have just played week 11 of the first half of the season meaning all teams have played each other once and therefore we now have the split where the top 6 teams go into Division 1 for the second half of the season and the bottom 6 go into Division 2. Remember, the points accrued up to this point remain with the teams.

The teams who have qualified for Division 1 are:

Lofthouse Lions (were The Thatched House), Carleton Grangers, Kippax Legionnaires, Old Taverners, The Vic and King's Arms.

Division 2 is therefore:

Flanagan's Army, Olde Tavern Allsorts, Golden Lion Dudes, Kippax British Legion, The Other Team and Featherstone Phoenix.

Fixtures will be announced as soon as we can. Every team will play every other in the mini-league meaning there are 10 more matches in the league. The next round of fixtures is on 6th January and the first round of the cup will be the following week.

The Handicap Cup will use the average score for each team from the first half of the season to create the handicaps. You can see them here.

Join us at the mid-season meeting next week, 16th December at 8:30 at The Olde Tavern, Pontefract where we will draw the first round of the two cups and discuss the good and bad of the season so far.
